Our oceans represent the most beautiful and natural element of the intercontinental connection.
Why not bring this entire community together to help clean, repair and preserve the beauty of this natural resource?
This community includes small groups of volunteers who take part in beach cleaning, fishermen who bring in trash from the high seas, and even large international groups. Everyone is important!
Recycling unsorted waste is very complex and expensive and therefore, not long ago, its destination was landfill or incineration. At SEAQUAL INITIATIVE we do not look for waste suitable for recycling; Everything you find is recycled, giving a second life to all this material. To make this possible, all waste is categorized according to the type of material present in its composition, separating them accordingly.
It is then returned to the industry where it is transformed into new and sustainable products. In the specific case of the textile industry, it transforms upcycled marine plastic into sustainable fabric thread, Seaqual Recycled Polyester. After this process, UNIFARDAS®, as a Seaqual licensed partner, acquires this fabric and manufactures sustainable pieces of professional clothing. This initiative, by promoting the circular economy, is fully within the vision and mission of UNIFARDAS®.

UNIFARDAS® collaborates with Espaço T, promoting inclusion and expanding employment opportunities for young people with special needs or those marginalized in the labor market, focusing on safe working conditions, exceeding minimum standards, and fostering continuous training programs for skills development.
At UNIFARDAS®, we stay up to date with new technologies and the latest innovations that can optimize our production process, making it more efficient and closer to zero waste.
UNIFARDAS® is a partner of Espaço T, an inclusive organization for everyone, with our common goal being to increase employment opportunities for young people with special needs and/or who, for some reason, have been excluded from the labor market. In this space, immigrants will also find a support network in their search for work and housing.
UNIFARDAS® demonstrates its ecological commitment by organizing beach cleanups on World Cleanup Day and collaborating with Seaqual to transform marine waste into upcycled plastic, later used in the production of sustainable fabrics, reinforcing its environmental responsibility.
